Day 1: Tangier - Rif mountains - Chefchaoun.
You will be greeted at the port or airport of Tangier, and then you will begin your journey to the Rif mountains, which will bring you to Chefchaouen after the afternoon. Chefchaouen is a Berber city whose name literally translates to “the horns.” It is situated in a stunning setting, where the contrast of white and blue colors of their dwellings, which are grouped on various levels, shines out on the green field that is irrigated by the river Lau. Evening meal and overnight stay at a certain riad
Day 2: Free Day in Chefchaoun.
Today will be spent taking leisurely strolls, discovering new places, and appreciating the scenic lanes of the city, which are blue in color. Additionally, Ras El Ma, a historic watering hole that serves as an entrance to the Medina, is a well-liked destination for both neighborhood residents and visitors. The Kasbah, which is a walled fortification, is located right adjacent to the Plaza Uta el-Hammam, which is the major plaza in Chefchaouen. Additionally, the Spanish mosque is located nearby.
Day 3: Chefchaoun - Volubulis ( Roman ruins ) - Meknes - Fes.
When you wake up, you are surrounded by blue color everywhere. What an incredible sensation it is. Today, our imperial voyage that will last for twelve days will go via the city of Meknes and Volubilis on its route to Fes. The town of Volubilis, which was established in the third century B.C., is a well-known Roman town that has been carefully preserved. It was an important place for the Roman Empire and was adorned with a great number of spectacular structures. Then, we proceeded to Meknes city, which was also an imperial city and was established in the 11th century. During the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl (1672–1727), Meknes emerged as the capital governing the Moroccan territory. The Bab Mansour, which was constructed in the latter half of the 17th century and the early 18th century, is one of the most well-known and appreciated sites in the city. Additionally, El Hdim plaza, which is comparable to Jemaa el-Fna square in Marrakech, as well as the Sahrij Swani or the Basin of the Norias, was constructed near the end of the seventeenth century with the purpose of providing water to the town. In addition, the newer part of the city, which is characterized by the presence of contemporary structures, such as hotels, restaurants, and large streets. Once we have finished our lunch in this ancient city, we will continue our journey to Fes, which is another old imperial city. It is in the afternoon when we arrive, and we spend the night in a stunning riad on the premises.
Day 4: Fes sightseeing with local guide.
Following the completion of breakfast at your riad, you will meet your local guide, and then the journey through Fes will begin. Beginning with the Royale Palace, which dates back to the beginning of the new Fes, you will begin your journey. A synagogue that dates back to the 17th century may be found in Mellah, which is the Jewish neighborhood. Additionally, the University of al-Qarawiyyin, which was first established as a mosque, has since evolved into one of the most prominent educational and spiritual institutions in the history of the Muslim world. In addition, there is Chouara Tannery, which is the biggest and oldest of the city’s Medina quarters. It is flanked by leather stores that have terraces from which one can see down over the pits. In addition, you will stroll through the historic souks (marketplaces) of Fes and make your way through the winding alleyways of the ancient Medina. Enjoy a delectable lunch in the heart of the ancient Medina, on one of the little lanes that run through the area. Following that, you will make your way to the highest point in the north of Fes, where you will be able to take in a breathtaking panorama of the ancient Medina. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to see the Moroccan Pottery and Ceramics with genuine and skilled local artisans. After that, our staff will come and pick you up and bring you back to the riad where you will spend your second night in Fes.
Day 5: Fes- Irane- Cedar forest - Boulaajoul overnight there.
At the aftermath of your breakfast at your Riad. Our driver will pick you up and transport you in the direction of Boulaajoul. Our first stop will be at Ifrane city, which is referred to as the Swiss of Morocco due to its well-organized dwellings with red roofs. We will get in the Ceder woods of Azrou, which are home to Barbary apes, in around half an hour of driving time using this location. We make our way to Boulaajoul, where we will spend the night.
Day 6: Boulaajoul - Medelt - Middle Atlas mountains - Ziz valley palmary - Sahara Desert.
This morning, we will take you on a journey to the desert, and our next destination will be Midelt, a town that is known for its apple production and mineral mining. Midelt is located between the high and middle Atlas mountains. After having lunch here, we will continue on our journey via Tizi N’Tlghamt, also known as the “Camel pass,” Errachidia, and then make a stop for a breathtaking view of Ziz Valley. After that, we will continue on to Erfoud, and then we will go to Merzouga desert, where you will spend your first night in a hotel or riad that is located adjacent to the sand dunes.
Day 7: Desert Sightseeing - Explore Nomads and the way the way they live.
In the morning around 10 am and after breakfast at the Riad. Our driver and guide pick you up by a 4WD for one of the best experiences in the desert. Your visit to the Merzouga area starts from your hotel driving by the high dunes of the desert. Firstly, a panoramic view stops for the Sahara from a high mountain close to the dunes. Then drive to nomad families living next to the Moroccan/Algerian border to know about their culture and the way they are living in a harsh environment, sitting under their tents while having a cup of tea. After that, our trip resumes to the M’ifis mascara mountain mine. You explore and have an idea of how workers get mines from the heart of mountains. From there, to Khamlia village, settled by the “black-skinned” people, who are famous for their Gnawa music all around the world. Here you try Berber Pizza, a recommended meal in Morocco this area is famous for. Besides, listening and dancing to Gnawa music played by these friendly people. Later, we keep up to the Sahara Oasis for a walk inside its almond, palm, and fig trees and different vegetable plants. From there on, we drive you back to the hotel, to get ready to ride the camels to camp on the other side of the desert. Your camel man awaits you next to dunes for lifting you by his camels to the desert camp. The camel ride takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes including an amazing stop for an incredible sunset at the top of a high dune in the middle of the desert. Your camel guide will take several memorable pictures for you along the ride to the camp. Arriving at the well-equipped camp, you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea and some cookies by the camp workers. In an hour, the working staff serve you a delicious dinner, then they make a fire outside the camp under a sky full of stars, where they will be playing Berber and African music, while you enjoy and dance around the fire.
Day 8: Desert - Rissani Souks - Tinjdad - Toudra gorges - Boumaln gorges and overnight there.
Life is getting up an hour early to live an hour more, but only on this day in the desert. For witnessing one that may be the best sunrise in your whole life, we always advise you to wake up early. After a tasty breakfast at the camp. There are two optional ways to get back to the village of Merzouga to recommence our trip. Either by camels or by a 4×4 vehicle. We depart the pretty desert to Rissani town. The closest town to the Erg Chebbi. With the legendary history between the 14th and 18th centuries. You explore the largest Souk/market in the area, mainly the sheep and cattle market. Then, continue your way to Alnif, then to Toudra Gorge, a place visited all year round by worldwide rock climbers for adventuring. You may be lucky to see them climbing during your visit. A place not far from where nomads still live in caves, they come with their animals “sheep, goats, donkeys” for water, and also take water with them for their home use. After a walk near the freshwater, you hit the road to beautiful Dades, a calm Berber town, with a beautiful green valley filled with fruit trees. You spend your first night here in a hotel or a Riad with dinner included.
Day 9: Tisdrine - Monkey Fingers Mountains - Kalaat Maggouna ( Rose Town ) - Skoura - Ouarzazate.
You still have a lot to tell after your trip of fifteen days. After you have finished your breakfast at your riad, we will travel through the Dades valley to our destination, which is the monkey fingers mountains. To put it another way, these are mountains that are shaped like monkey fingers. We will then proceed to drive to Tisdrine pass after that. Next, we go down the route that is referred to as the “road of thousands Kasbahs.” The journey begins in Dades Valley and ends in Ouarzazate, passing via Kelaat M’gouna, the city of roses, and Skoura city. The city of Ouarzazate, which is sometimes referred to as the Hollywood of Africa, is where we arrive. Here, you will get the opportunity to tour the Atlas film studio and spend the night in Ouarzazate.
Day 10: Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech.
After waking up this morning, we make our way to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which serves as a historical background for a number of well-known films, such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Lawrence of Arabia. After having lunch at this one-of-a-kind location, we continue on our journey to Marrakech, constantly passing through the spectacular scenery of the Atlas mountains, past the villages of the Berber people, and via Tizi N’tichka, the passing of the highest pass in Morocco. Every once in a while, we make a pit stop at any station that is worthy of our attention, in order to take some outstanding photographs and to take in the sights. The following day, you will have the opportunity to visit Marrakech with a local guide. We arrive in Marrakech just before nightfall, check into your riad, and make a short stroll to familiarize yourself with the city.
Day 11: Discovering Marrakech with a Local Guide.
Your local guide will be waiting for you at the reception desk of your hotel at around 9:30 in the morning till you arrive. At Jemaa el-Fna Square, which is considered to be one of the busiest squares in the whole world, your guide will follow you and show you all of the historical landmarks that are located in the red city of Marrakech. This square is regarded to be one of the most important cultural spaces in Marrakech, and it was created in the eleventh century. The Saadian dynasty, which lasted from 1578 to 1603, was the history of the Saadian tombs. One of the most spectacular structures is the Bahia Palace, which was constructed at the tail end of the 19th century with the intention of becoming the most eye-catching palace in the history of the world. In addition to that, the 12th Koutoubia mosque, which was the most significant and biggest site of worship during that time period. At a later time, you will take a walk through the winding alleyways of the ancient Medina, also known as the old city, and explore the vibrant Souks, which are marketplaces. Take a break for lunch at one of the restaurants located inside the ancient Medina, and then go along the road that leads to the contemporary section. As you go through the blue paradise of Majorelle and YSL Musume, you will discover. The Menara garden is also included in this. We will finally pick you up and take you back to your riad after you have spent a full day seeing the area and after we have made certain that you do not have any more places that you would want to visit. In Marrakech, spend the night.
Day 12: Marrakech - Essaouira.
After lunch, we will head for the little fishing town of Essaouira, which is situated on the south coast and has more than 11 kilometers of beach. In the morning, we will have a stroll around the new portion of Marrakech.
Day 13: Free Day in Essaouira.
In the city, you can visit the museum of wooden crafts, which is housed in an old palace; the old watchtower and the Skala of the port, from which you can have a view of the coast, the islands, and the entire city; the Puerta de la Marina, which connects the port with the city; or you can go to the auction of fish that takes place in the port.In the upper part of the bastions of the city, we can still see some Spanish cannon from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The intricate streets of the medina serve as an interesting showcase for the work of jewelers, goldsmiths, and marquetry craftsmen (made of cedar and ebony). These skilled artisans placed their work in the underground workshops of the bastions.
Day 14: Essaouira - Casablanca - Rabat.
After finishing your breakfast we will head to Rabat which is the political and administrative capital of the country, but first, we will visit Hassan second Mosque in Casablanca which considered the largest in Morocco. However, it’s the only mosque in Morocco that is allowed to go in for non muslems. Afterward, we will head to Rabat to spend the night.
Day 15: Rabat - Asilah - Tangier.
Following the completion of our breakfast, we will go down the coast in the direction of Asilah, which is considered to be the crown gem of Hispanic-Morisco architecture.Because of the Spanish rule, the little town of Asilah, which also serves as a fishing harbor, came into being. It is bordered by the ochre walls of the Portuguese wall, and its residences have doors and windows that are blue, green, and yellow, which contrast with the white walls that surround it. Following the conclusion of your time spent in Asilah, we will make our way back to Tangier, where we will drop you off at your hotel or anywhere you so like.
