Day 1 : Arrival in Casablanca – Transfer to your hotel

You will receive a warm welcome to Morocco before being transferred to your hotel in Casablanca. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your flight in preparation for the journey ahead.

Day 2 : Casablanca City Tour – Transfer to Rabat

After breakfast at your hotel, today your Morocco 3 week Itinerary, begins with a guided exploration of Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Known for its unique blend of European Art Deco and Moorish architecture, Casablanca offers several iconic landmarks.
Your first stop will be the world-famous Hassan II Mosque, the fifth-largest mosque in the world and home to the tallest minaret on earth. You will also take a short tour of the modern New Town of Casablanca, part of which is built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Afterwards, you will continue to Rabat, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and the nation’s capital. Here, you will visit the historic Kasbah of the Udayas (Oudayas), a 12th-century fortress overlooking the Atlantic, once home to Andalusian immigrants and beautifully preserved through centuries. You will also see the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret of what was intended to be the world’s largest mosque in the 12th century.
Following your sightseeing in Rabat, you will be transferred to your traditional Riad.
Day 3 : Rabat - Asilah Tangier

After breakfast at your hotel or riad in Rabat, meet your private driver and begin your journey north along Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Today you will leave the capital behind and discover the charming coastal town of Asilah before continuing to Tangier.
Your first major stop is Asilah, a peaceful seaside town known for its whitewashed houses, blue-painted details, colorful murals, and relaxed atmosphere. Enter the historic medina and enjoy a leisurely walk through its narrow pedestrian streets. Unlike the busy medinas of Marrakech and Fes, Asilah has a much calmer character, making it a wonderful place to explore at your own pace.
Walk along the old Portuguese ramparts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and discover the murals and artwork that decorate buildings throughout the medina. You will have free time for photographs, browsing small local shops, or simply enjoying the coastal atmosphere. There will also be time for lunch, with the option of trying fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.
After your visit, continue north toward Tangier, a fascinating port city overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar. Tangier has long been a meeting point between Africa and Europe and has developed a distinctive mix of Moroccan, Mediterranean, and international influences.
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your hotel or riad. Depending on the arrival time, you can enjoy a first walk around the city, have a coffee overlooking the sea, or relax before dinner.
Day 4 : Explore Tangier – Medina – Kasbah – Cap Spartel
Local driving: Approximately 40–50 km, depending on the stops
After breakfast, spend the day discovering Tangier and its surroundings. Begin in the historic center, where the narrow streets of the old medina reveal a very different atmosphere from Morocco’s other imperial and northern cities.
Explore the lively lanes surrounding the Grand Socco, traditionally one of the main meeting points between the modern city and the old medina. Continue through the medina toward the Kasbah, situated on higher ground and offering beautiful views toward the Strait of Gibraltar.
Walk through the Kasbah’s quiet streets, traditional houses, small squares, and historic gateways while learning more about Tangier’s long and multicultural history. From several viewpoints around this part of the city, you can look across the water toward Europe on a clear day.
After exploring the old city, continue by private vehicle along the coast toward Cap Spartel, located at the northwestern tip of Africa. The cape offers impressive views over the coastline and the waters where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea meet.
You can also visit the nearby Caves of Hercules, one of the best-known natural attractions around Tangier. The caves are associated with local legends and are particularly famous for their sea-facing opening.
Afterwards, return toward Tangier with stops at scenic viewpoints along the Atlantic coast. The remainder of the afternoon is free, allowing you to continue exploring independently, relax at a café, stroll along the waterfront, or return to your accommodation.
In the evening, enjoy Tangier at your own pace and choose from the city’s Moroccan and Mediterranean restaurants for dinner.
Day 5 : Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
Approximate driving: 115 km | 2½–3 hours, excluding sightseeing stops
After breakfast at your hotel or riad in Tangier, meet your private driver and begin your journey through the beautiful landscapes of northern Morocco. Today’s route takes you through Tetouan, a historic city with strong Andalusian influences, before continuing into the Rif Mountains toward the famous blue city of Chefchaouen.
Your first major stop is Tetouan, a city whose architecture and culture reflect centuries of connections between Morocco and southern Spain. Tetouan’s historic medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains less touristy than many of Morocco’s better-known old cities.
Enjoy time to explore the medina, with its narrow streets, traditional markets, artisan workshops, whitewashed buildings, and lively local neighborhoods. Around the center, you can also admire Tetouan’s distinctive Spanish-influenced architecture and the elegant area surrounding the Royal Palace.
After your visit, continue your journey inland as the scenery gradually changes from the Mediterranean landscapes around Tetouan to the dramatic green hills and mountains of the Rif region. The road toward Chefchaouen offers beautiful views, with opportunities to stop along the way for photographs.
Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, check into your riad in or near the medina. The remainder of the afternoon is free to begin discovering one of Morocco’s most picturesque towns.
Day 6 : Free Day in Chefchaouen
Today, Wander through Chefchaouen’s famous blue-painted streets, small squares and winding lanes before reaching Outa el Hammam, the lively main square at the heart of the medina. You can relax at one of the surrounding cafés, explore the small local shops, or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
If time and weather permit, you may finish the day with a walk toward the Spanish Mosque, located on a hill overlooking Chefchaouen. It is one of the best places to enjoy panoramic views over the blue medina and surrounding Rif Mountains, particularly around sunset.
Afterwards, return to the medina and enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 7 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Distance: 260km Time on the road: 4h 45min
After breakfast, you will leave Chefchaouen and travel towards Volubilis, Morocco’s most famous archaeological site. These impressive Roman ruins, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcase ancient mosaics, temples, and columns that tell the story of Morocco’s Roman heritage.
Then 15 Day private Morocco tour continues to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and the former capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Here, you will visit the magnificent Bab Mansour Gate, one of the finest examples of Moroccan architecture, and explore El Hedim Square, a lively plaza often compared to Marrakech’s Djemaa El-Fna. Following that you can have your lunch in Meknes before you continue your trip.
In the afternoon, you will head to Fes, also known as the “Athens of Africa”. This historic city is the oldest Islamic city in Morocco and has long been a center of spirituality, education, and culture. When you arrive Fez, you will check into your Riad. Overnight stay in Fes.
Day 8 : Fes Sightseeing with Local Guide

After breakfast, your Morocco 3 week Itinerary will take a place in Fes. Your day begins with a visit by car to the Royal Palace and the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah). From there, you will head to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the entire Fes Medina, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Morocco’s oldest imperial city.
Next, your driver will drop you off at the entrance of the Fes Medina, where your walking tour with a professional local guide begins. You will explore the old ramparts and visit the Marinid Tombs, before discovering the Bou Inania Madrasa, a stunning 14th-century Islamic school that houses intricate architecture, ceramics, and ancient manuscripts.
After enjoying lunch in the medina, your exploration continues through the maze-like cobblestone alleys. Highlights include the beautifully decorated Attarin Madrasa, the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts (Funduq Nejjarine), the vibrant Chouara Tannery, and numerous artisan workshops producing pottery, copperware, leather goods, and traditional handicrafts.
At the end of this enriching day, you return to your Riad for an overnight stay in Fes.
Day 9 : Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas – Boulaajoul
Approximate driving: 190 km | Around 3½–4 hours, excluding stops
After breakfast, meet your private driver in Fes and begin your journey south toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. As you leave the busy streets of Fes behind, the landscape gradually changes into rolling hills, forests, and mountain scenery.
Your first stop will be Ifrane, a peaceful mountain town known for its clean streets, green spaces, and distinctive Alpine-style architecture. Often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifrane has a completely different atmosphere from Morocco’s historic medinas and desert towns. You will have some free time to walk around the center, take photographs, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Continue deeper into the Middle Atlas toward the famous cedar forests near Azrou, home to populations of Barbary macaques. Stop for a walk among the impressive cedar trees and, if the monkeys are nearby, observe them in their natural environment.
The journey then continues through the beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas, passing small towns, traditional villages, grazing lands, and wide mountain plateaus. There will be opportunities to stop along the way for photographs, coffee, or simply to enjoy the scenery.
By late afternoon, arrive in Boulaajoul, a quiet mountain area surrounded by open landscapes. Check into your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure before settling in for the night.
Day 10 : Boulaajoul – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara Desert
Approximate driving: 300 km | Around 4½–5 hours, excluding stops
After breakfast, leave Boulaajoul and continue south toward the Sahara. Today’s journey is particularly scenic as the landscapes gradually transform from the mountains and high plateaus of central Morocco into the arid valleys and desert scenery of the southeast.
Travel toward Midelt, a town located between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas Mountains. The surrounding area is known for its dramatic mountain views and agricultural landscapes. After a short stop, continue through increasingly rugged scenery toward the south.
The route takes you across mountain passes and through the impressive Ziz Valley, one of the most beautiful oasis landscapes in this part of Morocco. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the enormous palm-filled valley, where the green ribbon of date palms creates a striking contrast with the surrounding rocky terrain.
Continue through Erfoud and toward Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi gradually appear on the horizon. Reaching the Sahara is one of the most memorable moments of the journey.
At the edge of the dunes, meet your camel caravan and begin your camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Ride across the golden dunes while enjoying the changing colors of the landscape, with time to stop and experience the sunset from the dunes.
Upon arrival at your desert camp, settle into your private tent and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. Later in the evening, gather around the campfire for traditional Berber music and drumming beneath the desert sky, surrounded by the peaceful dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Day 11 : Merzouga Desert Exploration & Camel Trek

After breakfast at your hotel, your Morocco 3 week Itinerary, begins with an exploration of the Merzouga region and the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. You will visit the village of Khamlia, known for its vibrant culture and spiritual Gnawa music, where locals perform traditional dances and songs passed down through generations. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the unique traditions and lifestyle of the desert communities.
After that, you will meet your driver to start your unforgettable desert adventure. After leaving your extra luggage behind, you will set out on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As you ride through the Sahara, you will witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets in Morocco, surrounded by the silence and vastness of the desert.
By evening, you will arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you will be welcomed with mint tea and a traditional Moroccan dinner. The night will be filled with Berber music and drumming under the starry desert sky, creating a magical atmosphere you will never forget. Overnight stay in a desert camp in Merzouga.
Day 12 : Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Skoura – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a magical moment not to be missed. After enjoying breakfast at the desert camp, you will ride your camels back to Merzouga, where you can refresh before continuing your Morocco 3 week Itinerary.
Our first stop will be Rissani, home to one of the oldest and most traditional souks (markets) in Morocco, where locals trade spices, livestock, and handicrafts. From there, we travel through Tinjdad on the way to the spectacular Todra Gorges, famous for their towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters high. Here, you will have time to walk along the gorge and enjoy the stunning natural scenery.
The journey continues through the Dades Valley and the charming town of Kalaat M’Gouna, known as the “Valley of Roses”, especially vibrant in April during the annual Rose Festival. Next, we pass through Skoura, where you will visit the beautifully preserved Kasbah Amridil, one of the most iconic kasbahs in Morocco.
Finally, we arrive in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its famous film studios and cinematic landscapes. Overnight stay in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 13 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Taznakht – Taliouine – Taroudant
Distance: 300 km Time on the road: 4h 15min
After breakfast in your riad, your Morocco 3 week Itinerary, continues towards Taroudant, passing through some of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Our first stop will be the impressive Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous ksars (fortified villages) in Morocco. Built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains, Ait Ben Haddou was once an important stop for caravans traveling from sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech. It has also used in many films and tv shows including Gladiar and Lawrence of Arabia.
We then pass through Taznakht, a town well-known for its handmade Berber carpets, before reaching Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital. Here, you will have the chance to visit a saffron cooperative and learn about the cultivation of this precious spice.
By afternoon, we arrive in Taroudant, often referred to as the “Grandmother of Marrakech” because it resembles a smaller version of the Red City, complete with its impressive ramparts and bustling medina. After checking into your hotel and having time to refresh, you can explore the medina’s narrow lanes and admire the city’s historic walls. Overnight stay in Taroudant.
Day 14 : Day: Taroudant – Agadir
Approximate driving: 85 km | Around 1½ hours, excluding stops and sightseeing
After breakfast, leave Taroudant and begin your journey toward Morocco’s Atlantic coast and the vibrant seaside city of Agadir.
Before departure, depending on your schedule, enjoy some time exploring Taroudant, a historic walled city often described as a smaller and more relaxed alternative to Marrakech. Walk through its traditional souks, discover local handicrafts and admire the impressive ochre-colored ramparts that surround the old city.
Continue west through the fertile Souss Valley, an important agricultural region characterized by argan trees, farms, and landscapes framed by the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, there will be opportunities for scenic stops and photographs.
Upon arrival in Agadir, discover a completely different side of Morocco. Rebuilt as a modern coastal city following the 1960 earthquake, Agadir is known for its long sandy beach, wide promenade, marina, and relaxed Atlantic atmosphere.
Visit the Agadir Oufella, situated high above the city, for panoramic views over Agadir, its coastline, and the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, you may explore the lively Souk El Had, one of the largest markets in the region, where locals shop for spices, fresh produce, clothing, handicrafts, and everyday goods.
The remainder of the afternoon is free to enjoy Agadir at your own pace. Take a walk along the beachfront promenade, relax by the ocean, visit the marina, or enjoy a café overlooking the Atlantic.

Day 15 : Agadir – Atlantic Coast – Essaouira

After breakfast, leave Agadir and begin your journey north along Morocco’s beautiful Atlantic coast toward Essaouira, one of the country’s most charming seaside towns.
The drive follows a scenic coastal route through small villages, rolling hills, and landscapes filled with the argan trees for which this region is famous. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy the changing scenery.
If you wish, you can also stop at a local argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional process used to produce culinary and cosmetic argan oil, an important product of southwestern Morocco.

Your visit starts with the Scala Kasbah, a seaside fortress designed by the French architect Théodore Cornut in the 18th century, inspired by the French coastal town of Saint-Malo. From here, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the city’s historic cannons.
Next, you will stroll through the narrow alleyways of the Essaouira Medina, famous for its whitewashed houses with blue shutters, colorful artisan shops, and vibrant atmosphere. The medina is also home to the old Jewish Quarter (Mellah), which adds to the city’s unique multicultural heritage.

Your sightseeing begins at the lively Rahba Kedima spice market, where the air is filled with the aromas of cumin, cinnamon, saffron, dried peppers, and many other exotic spices. From there, you will stroll through the old Jewish Quarter (Mellah) before visiting the elegant Bahia Palace, an architectural masterpiece of 19th-century Moroccan design.
