Day 1: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ameridil – Valley of Roses – Boumalne Dades – Dades Gorges – Tinghir City.

Our driver guide will get you up from your accommodation and transport you to the Dades Gorges and Todra Gorge, crossing the oasis of Skoura where we will stop to explore Ameridil Kasbah. After breakfast, we will begin our 5-day journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech across the Sahara desert. We’ll travel the route of the thousand Kasbahs to reach the Valley of Roses later. After that, we’ll go on to the Valley of Dades and the magnificent Dades Gorges canyon, stopping along the way to take in the breathtaking scenery and have some lunch time on our own. Our first day in Tinghir City will come to a conclusion in the evening with dinner and lodging in a hotel or riad.

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Rissani – Erg-Chebbi Sand Dunes of Merzouga.

Following a customary Moroccan breakfast, we will begin our journey of the four valleys—from Tinghir to Merzouga—and the desert. We will travel to Todra Gorge in Tinghir, which is known for its orange, sheer cliffs. Climbers love this area because of its almost 1,000-foot-deep canyons. Next, take in the verdant vistas of Todra Valley, dotted with almond and palm trees. Later, we go via the Ziz Valley, Errachidia Town’s Tafilalet oasis, and other Berber settlements, including Tinjdad, Errachidia, Aoufous, and Erfoud, on our way to the Sahara desert. On our trip, you’ll have time for lunch. We will go to the enchanted Merzouga sand dunes in the afternoon, where we will stay the night in a hotel or riad and have dinner.

Day 3: Desert Tour – Khamliya – Nomad Family – Camel trekking & Overnight in desert camp.

We will begin our tour of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes after breakfast. We will visit several fascinating locations in the region, such Merzouga Lake, which isn’t constantly full of water, to see the variety of species that visit this body of water, particularly in the spring, including flamingos and ducks. After hearing African music (Gnawa) performed by musicians hailing from Black Africa in Khamlia hamlet, we will continue our off-road desert journey to the black desert located beyond the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. We will drive to meet a nomadic Berber family to witness their way of life, after visiting an abandoned town where the working mineral fossils are located. We’ll return to Khamlia to enjoy a nice lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will begin your Camel Trekking Adventure, traveling across the stunning orange-colored sand dunes to the desert camp. Spend unforgettable moments in an incredible location where you may nourish your spirit and watch the sunset from the center of the dunes. Dinner and overnight will be served at camp, music will be played, and you will be able to play on the sand dunes under the sky.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani City – Alnif – N’kob – Tazarine – Agdez – Ouarzazate.

Today, get up early and ascend the sand dunes to witness the stunning sunrise. After breakfast and a shower, you will ride a camel back to Merzouga town. We will travel from Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Rissani (Tafilalt), where we will explore the area’s famed, traditional, and largest market, which sells locally created items and art crafts. The best days to visit Rissani are Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The souk is open on these three days, making them ideal for desert residents looking to shop. Continue our travel through Alinf, Tazarine, and N’kob, where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll travel through the stunning Draa Valley, which is studded with historic Kasbahs, Berber towns, and palm groves. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, passing through Agdez and traversing the Anti-Atlas Mountains (1660m). We will get in Ouarzazate in the evening, have dinner, and spend the night in a hotel or Riad.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Atlas Studios – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ounila Valley – High Atlas – Marrakech.

On the final day of our 5-day trip from Ouarzazate to Marrakech across the Sahara desert, after breakfast, we will visit a world-renowned movie studio (Atlas Studios) in Ouarzazate. Our journey continues to the old Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This fortified walled city was situated directly on the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara and was a bustling commercial hub in the 17th century. Inside the towering mud walls are six Kasbahs and a few houses. Ait Benhaddou has appeared in various films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. After having lunch there we’ll travel over the Atlas Passes, stopping along the way to take in the breathtaking vistas of the Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 meters). In the afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech (the red city), drop you off at your accommodation, and conclude our services.
