Day 1 : Agadir - Tarodant - Taznakht - Ouarzazate

Distance: 345km   Time on the road: 5h 

We depart from Agadir in the morning and head toward Ouarzazate, known as the Sahara Gate. Our first stop is Taroudant, often called Little Marrakech, where we explore the old city and its lively market. From there, we continue to Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, before crossing the Atlas Mountains with their breathtaking scenery and traditional Berber villages. On the way, we visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful kasbahs in Morocco. By evening, we arrive in Ouarzazate and check into your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, our driver takes you on a journey toward the Sahara Desert via the Draa Valley, the largest and most scenic valley in Morocco. We continue to Nkob, a charming Berber village, where you will enjoy lunch before driving through Rissani, an ancient town known for its traditional souk. By late afternoon, we arrive in the Merzouga desert, where you will ride camels across the golden dunes and spend the night in a traditional Sahara camp under the stars.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a magical moment not to be missed. After enjoying breakfast at the desert camp, you will ride your camels back to Merzouga, where you can refresh before continuing the journey. 

Our first stop will be Rissani, home to one of the oldest and most traditional souks (markets) in Morocco, where locals trade spices, livestock, and handicrafts. From there, we travel through Tinjdad on the way to the spectacular Todra Gorges, famous for their towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters high. Here, you will have time to walk along the gorge and enjoy the stunning natural scenery. 

The journey continues through the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

Our journey to Marrakech begins with a short stop at the Dades Gorges. We then pass through Mgouna, famous for its annual Rose Festival, before continuing to Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Morocco thanks to the many international films shot there. You will visit the Atlas Film Studios and then explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a kasbah featured in productions such as Game of Thrones and Gladiator.

From there, we drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, one of the most scenic roads in Morocco. Along the way, we stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking lush river valleys, adobe villages, and ancient kasbahs. By late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, where we will drop you off at your preferred location, marking the end of our services.
