- Tour program for 7 days from Agadir to Marrakech via Sahara Desert
DAY 1: AGADIR - TARODANT - TAZNAKHT - OURAZAZTE.
We will depart from Agadir in the morning and go to Ouarzazate (the Sahara Gate). During our journey, we will stop in Taroudant, popularly known as ‘little Marrakesh’, to tour the old city and market. We will proceed from Taroudant to Taliouine, which is noted for its saffron. We will journey to Ouarzazate via the Atlas Mountains, an enchanting and varied scenery, and little Berber villages. We will have a stop in Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, the most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco (a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1987). We’ll have dinner and spend the night in the riad in Ouarzazate.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE - BOUMALNE DADES - TINGHIR - MERZOUGA.
Our journey will take us from Ouarzazate to Dades Gorge, passing through Rose Valley and palm groves on our way to the thousand Kasbahs. The excursion will continue to Merzouga (Sahara desert) via the Todra Valley. We’ll pause for lunch and go for a walk through the Todra Gorge, Morocco’s most magnificent gorge. Then we’ll drive to Merzouga (Sahara desert) over a stunning desert scenery, passing through Rissani, which is noted for its Kasbahs and Oasis. at the afternoon, we will arrive at Merzouga, where we will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 3: SAHARA DESERT SIGHTSEEINGS.
We will get up early to watch the beautiful dawn over the desert dunes. Then we will return to the hotel to eat breakfast. After breakfast, we will see the castles and Kasbahs (a 21-kilometer drive through the palm tree groves), followed by an excursion to Rissani’s Souk. At around 4 p.m., we will return to Merzouga, where you can take a camel ride in the desert. We will eat dinner in a typical Berber-style tagine. We’ll spend the night in a Berber tent beneath the starry sky.
DAY 4: SAHARA - NKOB - ZAGOURA.
After breakfast, we will depart Merzouga and go to Zagora via Alnif, Tazarine, breathtaking desert vistas, oasis, and small Berber towns. We’ll spend the night at a hotel with a view of the stunning valley.
DAY 5: ZAGOURA - DARAA VALLEY - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH.
We will depart Zagora to travel to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley to Agdz. We will visit the film studio in Ouarzazate before continuing on to Marrakesh via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains, where we will stop for lunch. We’ll have dinner at a local restaurant in Jemaa-El-Fna and spend the night in a riad.
DAY 6: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEINGS.
In the morning around 9h30, your local guide will be waiting for you at the reception of your hotel. Your guide will accompany and show you all the historical sites of the red city Marrakech, including; Jemaa el-Fna Square, one of the main cultural spaces in Marrakech founded in the eleventh century, and considered one of the busiest squares in all the world. And Saadian tombs dated back to the Saadian dynasty(1578–1603). In addition to Bahia Palace, one most impressive buildings that was built at the end of the 19th century, and intended to be the most eye-catching palace of all times. Moreover; the 12th Koutoubia mosque, the most important and largest worship place at that time. Later on, you will stroll inside the narrow streets of the old Medina *old city, and visit the colourful Souks/markets. After lunch in one of the restaurants inside the old Medina, you hit the road to the modern area. Where you explore the blue garden of Majorelle and YSL Musume. In addition to the Menara garden. At last, after a long exploratory day, and after making sure that you do not have any other desired place to visit, we pick you up back to your riad. Overnight in Marrakech.
DAY 7: MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA - AGADIR.
After your breakfast in your Riad we will depart to Essaouira to explore its beautiful and attractive alleys and charming Medina. Afterwards, we will head to Agadir and our tour comes to the end after great memories with our driver.
