Day 1 : Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, your authentic Morocco tour continues toward the spectacular Sahara Desert. Today is one of the longest drives (around seven hours), but the changing landscapes make it an unforgettable experience.
Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture, cool climate, beautiful parks, and winter ski resort. From here, we continue toward Azrou, where you will meet the friendly Barbary macaque monkeys and admire the majestic cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
We then head to Midelt for lunch before continuing through the dramatic Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorge. Along the way, we pause at panoramic viewpoints to take photos of the lush valley surrounded by desert plateaus.
By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, at the edge of the golden Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Here, your adventure begins with a camel trek across the dunes, while your luggage is transported by 4×4 to the desert camp.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the camp staff, shown to your private tent, and given time to shower and relax. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by traditional Berber music under the starry desert sky.

Day 2 : Desert Sightseeing
Distance: Around 50km off road
After breakfast at your riad, you will meet your driver for a day of discovery across the golden Erg Chebbi sand dunes. The excursion begins with a visit to a local nomad family, where you will be welcomed with a cup of tea and learn about their traditional way of life in the desert.
Next, we continue to Khamlia village, famous for its unique Gnawa music. Here, you will enjoy live performances and immerse yourself in the region’s rich cultural heritage. For lunch, taste a local specialty known as Berber pizza at a traditional restaurant.
In the afternoon, return to your hotel to prepare for an unforgettable camel trek across the dunes of Merzouga. Your luggage will be transported by 4×4 while you ride camels into the heart of the Sahara. Upon arrival at your luxury desert camp, the staff will show you to your private tent, equipped with comfortable beds, bathrooms, and modern facilities.
In the evening, savor a traditional dinner before gathering around a campfire. Enjoy Berber music and drumming under the desert stars, and take in the breathtaking night sky.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Fez

This morning, it is highly recommended to wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, pack your bags and ride back across the desert to meet your driver.
Your return journey to Fez takes you through Erfoud, known as the capital of dates, where you can enjoy a short walk and explore the local charm. Continuing via Errachidia and the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, you will arrive in Fez by evening.
